Family Who Lost Child From MRSA Now Helping Others-Cindy Carter

Eleven year old Kristen Kay Hunter was an outgoing young girl with her whole life in front of her.. until the day she came down with the sniffles. Kristen's father, Scott Hunter says, "This just came out of nowhere. It started with a cold and flu-like symptoms"
Hunter says his daughter's condition quickly worsened and doctors eventually told them that it wasn't a cold or flu. It was a staph infection commonly known as MRSA. A few days later, Kristen passed away.
Scott Hunter says, "I never fathomed in my entire life that I would have to deal with anything of this nature. I was in shock and I was in fear for the life of my other daughter."
